RWS Associates, Inc. offers the complete spectrum of activities for designing and managing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs.
In 2003, world-acclaimed IT infrastructure expert, author, speaker and professional educator Rich Schiesser founded RWS Associates, Inc. as a sole proprietorship. As the company grew it became incorporated and now is comprised of four major divisions. The firm has successfully provided IT management and business continuity services to over 80 clients in the Academic, Public and Private Sectors.
SUMMARY OF MAJOR DIVISIONS
RWS Associates, Inc. consists of the following four divisions.
Consulting Division
The Consulting Division offers consulting services for all aspects of our two core competencies. The first core competency is IT Service Management, including the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). The second core competency is Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
Training Division
The Training Division provides all levels of ITIL certification. RWS Associates, Inc. has certifies over 2000 IT professionals in the various levels of ITIL certification. Training includes all accredited courseware materials, accredited ITIL examinations and certified instructors.
Speaker Division
The Speaker Division offers keynote and plenary speakers for various industry events. During the past twelve years representatives from RWS Associates, Inc. have spoken at over 50 conferences around the world.
Publications Division
The Publications Division includes the three best-selling books on IT Service Management that were written by the company’s founder. In addition, the division includes over 150 weekly columns on various IT Service Management topics that were written also by the founder of RWS Associates, Inc.

After 25 years of managing large IT infrastructures, I founded RWS Associates, Inc. in 2004 to share my diversified experiences and my knowledgeable expertise with others. I saw a need to address the growing challenges of IT management and business continuity with time-proven, best-practices solutions.
I have always strived to maintain the highest levels of quality, value and professionalism with all of the services that we provide. As our slogan implies, we offer real world solutions to meet real world challenges.
